About Don Louis

Don Louis is an independent candidate for the United States Senate from South Carolina. He is a Greer resident, husband, grandfather, business leader, and lifelong community servant running on a one-term pledge with no campaign donations accepted from anyone — not voters, not PACs, not lobbyists, not special interests.

Background

Don has lived in South Carolina since 1980. Over 42 years in business and service he has built and led organizations, mentored employees, and given his time to more than 40 volunteer leadership roles in churches, civic clubs, youth programs, veterans' causes, and neighborhood associations across the Upstate.

The Accident That Changed Everything

Don nearly died in a serious accident and survived against the odds. That second chance is why he is running. He believes the country needs leaders who treat public service as a finite duty, not a career, and who act in the next election cycle as if it might be their last.

Why Independent

Don is not a Republican and not a Democrat. He is running as an independent because both parties have failed to deliver term limits, end congressional insider trading, lower healthcare costs, secure the border, or stop the flood of dark money into our elections. An independent senator owes nothing to either party machine and can vote on the merits of every bill.

The One-Term Pledge

Don has publicly pledged to serve a single six-year term and then return home. He will accept no campaign donations, no PAC money, no lobbyist gifts, and no insider stock trades. He will champion a constitutional amendment for congressional and judicial term limits, mandatory financial disclosure, and an end to the special benefits that members of Congress vote for themselves.
